Robin Spencer: I'm an artist and art teacher with an unending, unquenchable passion for visual arts, illustrated folklore, Romani romanticism, oppulant surface patterns and maths in art. I also teach guitar and piano and get excited by eastern modal sounds, gypsy jazz, traditional arabic music, blues, jazz and flamenco. I can see that I come across as a traditionalist and craft based romantic but strongly believe this is cutting edge!! Perhaps I am clinging to bygone truths as I watch social changes spiral outwards; thread bare secularity and individualism pulling at the central fabric of human values and wholesome relations...(what?)
